I've just published a new plugin. Its called SuperSlider-Perpost-Code. It allows you to write css and javascript code directly on your post edit screen on a per post basis. Meta boxes provide a quick and easy way to enter custom code to each post. It then loads the code into your frontend theme header if the post has custom code. It's now available for download from WordPress.org

The following options are available

Show custom Css metabox on edit screens or turn it off.
Show custom Javascript metabox on edit screens or turn it off.
Set the minimum user level to be able to use the custom meta boxes.
Short code to display your custom code directly into the post.

Features

Only loads custom code for the specific post or page.
Customize the appearence or functionality of each page or post.
Stores the css and javascript codes into the postmeta table with hidden meta_keys.

I've just updated the SuperSlider-Image plugin. It now checks for an attached image, then it looks for a featured image, then if none is found it shows a random image. You can set random image to show only from the post's category or site wide. Let me know if you have any issues with this [...]

The plugin settings are:

Image link on. Adds a link to the image.
Image caption on. Adds the caption to a p tag bellow the image.
Image lightbox on. Adds rel="lightbox:post-ID" to the image link.
Image frame on. Wraps a div around the image and caption.
Limit to: 1 the number of images to be shown. (enter @ to show all images.)
Image size.medium which image should be rendered by default.
Link to.large which link should be rendered by default.
Default Image Align. left

I've been updating and making adjustments for the new WordPress 3.0. All superslider plugins have been updated to take advantage of new 3.0 features. Meanwhile superslider-show has a new function/option it's called recent. You can now create a slideshow which shows the most recent post per category.

So with the "recent" option you can include or exclude categories,
You can show latest 1 or more posts from each category.
You can show latest from all categories.

New plugin superslider image

Superslider has a new plugin available. Called the SuperSlider-Image, Provides a shortcode for adding images to your post. Provides an easy way to change image properties globally. At the click of a button all post size images can be changed from thumbnail size to medium size. Changing any default option in the admin/settings/superslider-image page will change that property for all images inserted with the [ image ] shortcode. Missing Attachment Avaiable only from wp-superslider [download id="16"] Also available is the updated superslider-media-pop plugin with numerous new features, New Features v1.2

SuperSlider launches a new plugin

SuperSlider-Media-Pop adds various image enhancements to your admin panels. It adds image sizes to the Upload/Insert image screen, adding image sizes to be inserted and adding to the image link field options. Insert any image size and link to any image size. You can now insert a slide sized image and pop over a mid size image in your post. Adds thumbnails and attachments to your edit post / page list screens. And also provides an option to set the default jpeg image compression level. I recommend the plugin Faster Image Insert which makes a great campanion for SuperSlider-Media-Pop.

You can get the first publicly available version of this new plugin here at wp-SuperSlider.com. And will also be available at wordpress.org within a few weeks.

The SuperSlider-Menu plugin has been rebuilt from the ground up. If you haven't used it yet , have a look here at the demo. If you need a funky new category menu widget this is for you. Have a look at the screen shots below to see the widget control panel and the plugin options screen.

Upgrading

You may need to re-save your settings/ options when upgrading. In fact, a reinstall is recommended. Version 2 has a new css class structure! You will need to rebuild any custom css work.

Known bugs:

* cookied toggler open fails in some usage situations.
* ~~third level down has some issues in the php logic.~~ fixed
